Ingredients
1.For the Marinated Meat:
- 100g sliced beef or chicken
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon oyster sauce
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 tablespoon cooking oil
2.For the Fried Rice:
- 1 tablespoon cooking oil
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- ½ onion, sliced
- 1 cup cooked rice
- 1 tablespoon chili paste
- ½ cup mixed vegetables (carrots, peas, and corn)
- Salt and pepper, to taste
3.For the Sauce:
- 1 tablespoon tomato ketchup
- 1 tablespoon chili sauce
- Water, as needed for consistency
4.Optional Garnishes:
- Cucumber slices
- Fried egg
Instructions
1.Prepare the Meat:
- Marinate 100g of sliced beef or chicken with 1 tablespoon soy sauce, 1 teaspoon oyster sauce, salt, and pepper. Set aside for 10 minutes.
- In a pan, heat 1 tablespoon of oil and cook the marinated meat until browned. Set aside.
2.Cook the Fried Rice:
- In the same pan, add 1 tablespoon of oil and sauté 1 clove of minced garlic and ½ sliced onion until fragrant.
- Add 1 cup of cooked rice and 1 tablespoon of chili paste, stirring well to combine.
- Add ½ cup of mixed vegetables (carrots, peas, and corn), salt, and pepper to taste. Stir-fry until the vegetables are tender and the rice is well-coated with seasoning.
3.Prepare the Sauce:
- In a small bowl, mix 1 tablespoon of tomato ketchup, 1 tablespoon of chili sauce, and a little water to create a smooth sauce.
- Pour the sauce over the cooked meat and let it simmer for a minute.
4.Assemble the Dish:
- Serve the fried rice on a plate and top with the cooked meat in sauce.
- Garnish with fresh cucumber slices and a fried egg on top, if desired.
